When you find the Les Vignes campsite at Arbois, you will enter the world of wine. The town, well-known for its yellow wine - is the Capital of the Grands Vins de Jura, and was the 1st wine area to obtain AOC status.
Winegrowers will open the doors of their cellars to you, giving you the opportunity to taste their best vintages.
Arbois is also a centre of gastronomy, with culinary specialities, including the famous "coq au vin2 made with yellow wine and morel mushrooms.

There are two wine celebrations in July: les Petites Fêtes de Dionysos from 6th to 9th July, and Festi'caves from 21st to 23rd July.
Don't miss a visit to the Grotte des Planches cave, located at the foot of the highest steephead valley in the Jura - it has a gigantic underground reservoir, with an active river and erosion phenomena unique in Europe.

Covering an area of 4 hectares, Les Vignes offers 55 comfort pitches and 84 luxury pitches, ie 139 100-sq m pitches in total. Mobile homes are also available for rent.
Our campsite is spacious, bordered with shady trees and hedges, and invites you to relax completely. Enjoy the communal, 50m swimming pool, with a large pool for the little ones, and a grassy picnic area.
Behind the campsite, the vineyards offer lots of tracks to explore on foot or by bike.
If you have children, there is plenty to keep them occupied too: table tennis tables, board games and books to borrow: they won ;t believe how quickly the days will go by.

It is an ideal place to spend holidays among the vineyards of the Jura.
We have carried out major works for 2008, renewing the reception area, bar, grocery shop and snack bar.
